Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
I don't know that another 5 star review is really needed here, but since the last one was a few months ago, this one is just to say nothing has changed.
I have called Brad twice in the past two months. Both times, my call has been returned promptly, Brad has come when he said he would, and the work has been performed quickly and well. In other words, exactly the way you would want it to be when you need a plumber!

Gilbert fixed several things for us today and the service was top-notch. His price was very reasonable and I appreciate the quick response to email and the call that he was on the way. I'd definitely recommend him and will use again!

Eddie came by and fixed a shower issue I was having. Got a same day appointment after inquiring over the phone. He did a great job, explained everything he did along the way, and as an added bonus was just a super nice guy. He also let me know that I should have my tankless water heater flushed (new home owner, I have no idea about these things) and I'm going to be using them again for that.

Gabe (Gabrial) of Capital City Plumbing & Drain is a testament to an excellent business owner. Within this industry, it's extremely difficult to find ethical individuals and people who own up to any problems faced, but Gabe went above and beyond to make things right for me.
I had a member of his team come out to my house for an emergency visit to try and tackle an issue where a double vanity sink were backing up on the 2nd floor of our house. This happened in the middle of the summer, so turning off the A/C to eliminate the water coming through the drain pipe wasn't a possibility, especially with little children in the house. To make matters worse, the owners of the house were out of the country so I had try to handle things while they were away.
Long story short, the plumber from Capital City was not able to get his snake down into the main pipe due to the builder's design of the double vanity sinks. I was left with a quote for the permanent fix and a drawing of what was required (cut drywall in a bedroom that is attached to the bathroom, probe to find main pipe, and create a permanent access point for the future). With the drywall work being performed by a separate contractor, it was estimated to cost over $1,000 to do.
When the owners finally came back into the town, I told them about the situation and they pointed out a separate access point in the bottom left corner of one of the sinks that the builder put in place for this very reason (to access the main pipe). We were able to run a small handheld snake down the main pipe and in less than an hour, we were able to diagnose + fix the problem + put everything back together.
The night that this occurred, I was charged a large amount due to this being an emergency problem that I called about during after hours. After speaking to Gabe and showing him pictures, he said that he was going to need to get in touch with his employee that did the job. The employee was out of town on PTO for a while and rather than have me wait, Gabe graciously apologized for the oversight and offered me a full refund. Gabe what other owners of small businesses need to strive to be like. I will continue to use Capital City Plumbing & Drain if I need plumbing work done in the future and will happily refer friends over to them. Thank you!

We started getting some knocking noises in the house and and after looking it up, the symptoms pointed to possible sediment build up and the water heater needing a flush. Nick was my technician and began to flush the water heater but very little sediment was present. After checking over the pump, he explained some other possible causes of the noise such as pipes and some other solutions that I could take care of myself. He courteously offered to stop the flush and not charge for the visit. I accepted. Will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing needs!

My husband and I made the decision to finally renovate our kitchen because it's outdated and our friends would make comments.
We did our research on so many companies, got quotes, and spoke to them on the phone. None of the companies caught our attention and gave us that warm Customer Service feeling until we came across A&T Service Plumbing. Pierre took his time with us and got to the root of the issue, gave us his advice, and guided us through the process swiftly and affordably. He wrote up a contract and started in a prompt manner. I highly recommend A&T Service Plumbing! This is the first time I've used them and won't be the last.

Braulio was great! He was quick to respond, showed up on time and installed our kitchen faucet in no time. It's hard to find trustworthy plumbers out there so we'll be using Braulio again for any future plumbing needs. We're thankful to have found him!

Garbage disposal stopped working and sink was backed up over the Labor Day weekend. I couldn't cook or run the dishwasher. Called, left a VM on Sunday and Jaime texted me back within 30 minutes. He said he could drop by the next day at 10:30-11:00. Mind you, that was the Labor Day Monday! He showed up on time and got to work replacing the broken disposal with another one I had bought from one of the big box stores. Unplanned but he was also able to fix an old toilet at the same visit. All for a reasonable price.
Very grateful for his responsiveness and professionalism. I've found my go to plumber now and I know my old house will have something for him come back for another visit...hopefully not soon.

I used Jim at Republic Pipeworks to handle the gas line plumbing for my restaurant.
I can't say enough good things about Jim and his work. He is a Master Plumber in every sense. He was prompt, reliable and extremely knowledgeable. His pricing was very fair and his pride in his work in evident in the results. Jim also took the time to explain what he was planning prior to starting, answering all my questions to MY satisfaction every step of the way. Further, instead of plumbing everything simply as he saw as best, He took the time to present me with my options and advised me as to what he thought was the best course of action. I truly felt as a customer, I was a priority to him and he has earned my respect both as a customer and as a fellow businessman.
From now on, Republic Pipeworks will be the only company I trust to handle my commercial plumbing, as well as, the plumbing in my own home.

We were referred to Stan's by a neighbor. The best part of their business is the quick service/quick communication. The worst part is that they attempted to hastily suggest that we needed the entire inside and outside AC units replaced for a very small fix. The inside unit is quite new and not exhibiting unusual wear and tear. The technician and the project manager both came across as hasty, sales-y and condescending --- as I was asking probing language about replacing parts versus the entire unit, started wielding technical language and even saying, it's too complicated to explain.

I had an interesting plumber come out. I called because my tankless water heater is not heating and the technician who came out, clearly didn't know how to work on tankless heaters. He then said in order to simply troubleshoot it, he'll charge $450 because he has to call tech support to do whatever they tell him to do. I called a plumber so that I wouldn't have to call tech support for the water heater and troubleshoot. To make things better, he offered to simply replace the tankless water heater at a price tag of $8,000. Keep in mind the new tankless water heater only costs $1,300, so he wants to charge $6,700 for labor to replace the water heater. Never have I ever heard of such craziness. Consider this a warning, since the technician did absolutely nothing, and still charged me $89 to come out.

They arrived quickly but I feel like that's where the good ends. Didn't wear masks when they came to the door. When they checked out my leak outside they really didn't seem to know what the problem was, had to call the boss and then quoted me a lot of money per hour. On the web site there is an expert leak detection system video using equipment. I just got some dudes who didn't seem to know what they were doing.

Worth five stars at least for Ted's explanation over the phone of what the problem was and why his bid was 80% lower than another company's -- they would only fix what needed fixing, not dig up half our carport and redo the entire sewer pipe to the street. They did a great job, or at least I assume they did, as it was all done while I was at work one afternoon, and they had the concrete relaid and everything cleared up before I got back. So I never actually met the guys or saw them work.

We just finished a kitchen backsplash renovation with Fuentes Tile (Olvin and Ramon). We had requested estimates from several contractors and decided to go with Olvin as he was very responsive, listened closely to our needs, and gave great advice on available options. Ramon did the backsplash and was extremely tidy, skilled, and took care of our home very well throughout the whole process, and our new backsplash looks fabulous. Our project was completed on time, within budget, and we will call them again when we have another home renovation planned.

Scott is very professional and responsive. I got the quote from Yelp within 20mins, scheduled the appointment the next day. It took him 20mins to fix the broken pipe from the ice storm, also he insulated the pipe because they are exposed outdoor. Really nicely done.

Yelp don't lie.
Nick will be the only plumber I call as long as I live in Austin.
Honest, funny, pleasant, prompt and reasonable. He took $60 off the bill because, we were sitting around and having a chat for thirty minutes.
We're having some serious plumbing issues and while Nick can't complete the job (he doesn't have a camera to look into the pipes, nor does he tunnel under foundations) he made us feel like we were being taken care of and not being swindled.
Hey Nick, I forgot to ask...you work on cars?
